There's a certain person I respect and admire enormously. This person's got it all: charisma, diligence, intelligence, integrity, and my personal favorites: sincerity and humility. I've recently gotten into the habit of asking myself "what would ____ do" when I am in a tough judgement call.

I hope to one day to embody the characteristics of _____ so that my actions are reflective of Angela, my own person.

Here's my Karma note the day:

When I was in Vegas the other day, I went into walgreens to buy four things:

1. Pepcid (to tame the Alchys)
2. Hairspray (to tame the hair)
3. Conditioner (to also tame the hair)
4. Candy (to tame the stomach)

As I was browsing through candy I remember feeling very upset that the Pepcid I was soon to purchase cost around a whopping 15 dollars, but I had to buy it out of necessity. I walked halfway across the store with a bag of gummy bears in my hand, then decided I didn't want it. I then proceeded to act as 99% of shoppers do- I abandoned the gummies on the closest rack next to me.

I always feel like a jerk when I do that, but normally the feeling passes. This time, I said to myself... "what would ______ do?" and the answer was obvious. I walked halfway across the store back to where the gummy bear section was and placed the gummy bears where they came from.

While purchasing my pepcid, hairspray, and conditioner I was pleasantly surprised that it turned out to be much cheaper than I thought! After purchasing I walked out of the store back to the Imperial palace where my girls and I were staying at. Then, I read my receipt and realized the reason my purchases were so cheap was because the walgreens lady didn't scan my pepcid ac so I got it for free!

At this point, I was like "hmm what would _____ do?" and it turns out ____ would have returned the pepcid to Walgreens. Then I asked myself "are you going to do what _____ would today?" and then I replied "naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah"

SO THATS HOW I SAVED 15 BUCKS!!

Moral of the story: When you go shopping and decide not to buy something you are holding, put it back to where it came from and the Karma fairy might hit you up.
